BNB Wallet is a non-custodial crypto wallet. We collect as little data as we technically can to operate the service, and never your private keys.
1. What we do NOT collect
- Your seed phrase or private keys — they never leave your device unencrypted.
- Your name, email, phone number or government ID — there is no KYC.
- Wallet passwords — there are none on our side.
- Transaction signing material — we cannot sign anything on your behalf.
2. What we DO collect
- Public wallet address on import — used to display your portfolio and route on-chain reads.
- Server logs — IP address, user-agent, timestamp — kept up to 30 days for abuse prevention.
- Anonymous usage metrics — page views, feature clicks — aggregated, no per-user profiling.
3. How we use it
- To show you on-chain balances by querying public blockchain data.
- To rate-limit requests and prevent automated abuse.
- To improve the product based on aggregated feature usage.
4. Cookies & local storage
BNB Wallet stores wallet metadata, language preference, and session keys in your browser's localStorage. None of this is sent to our servers in identifiable form. Clearing your browser data removes all wallet data — make sure your seed phrase is backed up before doing so.
5. Third parties
We rely on public blockchain RPCs and price providers (Binance public API). These services see anonymous read requests and your IP address. We do not pass user identifiers to them.
6. Data deletion
Because we are non-custodial, removing the wallet from your device removes your data from our perspective. Server-side rate-limit and analytics logs auto-expire within 30 days.
7. Children
The service is not intended for users under 18.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be highlighted on the website 14 days in advance.
